About the Continuous Improvement Fund
The Continuous Improvement Fund (CIF) is a program developed through a partnership among Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO), the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), the City of Toronto and Stewardship Ontario. Its mandate is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Ontario’s municipal Blue Box program. The CIF is a catalyst for change which fulfills its mandate by providing funding, technical support and training for municipalities. CIF staff actively engage stakeholders in identifying and developing best practices and technological and market based solutions to challenges associated with the operation of Ontario’s Blue Box system.
